The Disney Tree

Our hearts grow tender with childhood memories and love of kindred, and we are better throughout the year for having, in spirit, become a child again at Christmas-time.  ~Laura Ingalls Wilder

As I may have mentioned before, our family LOVES Disney!  We have made so many special memories at the Disney Parks over the years.   In fact, I can't remember a time when Disney wasn't part of my life...from my first trip to the movies (The Aristocats),  my first records,  reruns of The Mickey Mouse Club,  all the way to now.

The Disney tree is special to me--not just because it is Disney--but because it is also a time capsule of our family.  I bought the first ornament for our very first Christmas tree in 1994.  Since then,  the ornament count has increased to over 100.  Some are from Hallmark and the Disney Store,  many are from various trips we have taken to the Disney Parks.

It is a tradition that is being carried-on by our daughter as well.  When she went to Disneyland she purchased her own ornament to go on her first Christmas tree.
